Warringah Archers enjoyed a strong weekend at the ACT Field Championships in Canberra, with four members competing in the World Archery 24 Target Unmarked and Marked Field event. The team returned with medals, Arrowhead awards and several potential records, building momentum ahead of the National Field Championships in South Australia.

The Warringah Archers 2026 Metropolitan Championships is a registered target event conducted as a Grange Round which is 90 arrows at 60 metres on a 122cm face for all competitors.
The event is open to Compound, Recurve, Barebow and Longbow archers and is divided into Division 1, 2 or 3 based on current rating. The highest applicable Archery Australia or Archery NSW rating must be used when entering. There are no separate age divisions.

The 2026 Warringah Open is a one-day outdoor tournament hosted at the home of Warringah Archers, featuring a Samford round shot at 40 metres.
Open to recurve, compound and barebow divisions, the event offers a well-run, relaxed competitive environment with individual awards and a teams trophy decided on the day.
Lunch is included, a canteen will operate throughout the event, and entries are limited.
