Warringah Archers is pleased to announce their KidBow (U21) and AdBow (Adults) programs, so take the next step in your archery journey with structured coaching, community, and skill development.

Whether you’re a junior looking to hit your first gold or an adult aiming to refine your technique, our AdBow and KidBow programs provide the perfect bridge between a “Come N Try” session and competitive club shooting.

What are the Programs?

Designed for those who have caught the “archery bug,” these programs offer a consistent, supportive environment to develop your skills under the guidance of qualified coaches. We focus on the fundamentals of target archery, safety, and the “Ten Steps” of successful shooting.

• KidBow (U21): Tailored for our younger archers (aged 6 to 20). We focus on building confidence, discipline, and proper form in a fun, social environment.
• AdBow (Adults): For archers aged 21 and over. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing new hobby or a path to tournament competition, AdBow provides the technical foundation you need.

Why Join the Program?

• Professional Coaching: Sessions are led by experienced coaches, including Chris Young and Elizabeth Jennison, who provide personalized feedback to help you progress.
• Equipment Provided: Don’t worry about the cost of gear just yet. Warringah Archers provides all necessary equipment (bows, arrows, and safety gear) so you can learn what suits you best before making a purchase.
• Track Your Progress: Both programs follow a structured pathway, allowing you to see your scores improve and your technique stabilize week by week.
• Community Spirit: Archery is as much about the people as it is the targets. Join a group of like-minded beginners and progress together.

Program Details

• When: Sunday mornings.
• Time: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (Please arrive by 8:45 AM for equipment allocation and setup).
• Where: Our range at Northern Beaches Secondary College – Cromer Campus.
• Cost: $200 upfront registration fee (non-refundable), plus a $5 weekly equipment/facility fee (honour system).

What to Bring

• Sun Safety: We are a SunSmart club. Please bring a hat and water bottle, and remember to “Slip, Slop, Slap.”
• Appropriate Footwear: Enclosed shoes are mandatory for safety on the range.
• A Positive Attitude: We’re here to learn and have fun!
