International Women’s Day is a moment to recognise the contribution, resilience and leadership of women across all areas of sport, including archery.

At Warringah Archers, this event is an opportunity to celebrate participation at every stage, from first-time competitors through to experienced target archers, in an environment that is supportive, inclusive and focused on enjoyment as much as performance. The day is intended to encourage confidence on the shooting line, foster connection across experience levels, and acknowledge the role women continue to play in shaping the culture and future of the sport.

The 2026 International Women’s Day Event is a registered target shoot offering graded rounds to suit all abilities, with distances ranging from 20 metres to 50 metres on 122cm faces.
Rounds are structured to align with archer experience, from beginner through cub, intermediate and U17/senior categories, with a maximum of three archers per target to ensure a steady shooting rhythm.
