The 2026 Warringah Open is a one-day outdoor tournament hosted at the home of Warringah Archers, featuring a Samford round shot at 40 metres.

Open to recurve, compound and barebow divisions, the event offers a well-run, relaxed competitive environment with individual awards and a teams trophy decided on the day.

Lunch is included, a canteen will operate throughout the event, and entries are limited.

PROGRAMME:

  • SAMFORD ROUND: 90 arrows @ 40m on a (80cm face)
  • FACE SIZE: Full face per target or 6 ring 80cm – one face per archer.
  • DIVISIONS: Male Recurve, Male Compound, Female Recurve, Female Compound, Barebow Recurve Male, Barebow Recurve Female
  • AWARDS: Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd & 3rd placings in each division where applicable.
  • CLOTHING: Club or State Polo Shirts. 
  • TIME: Registration at 8:15 – Bow Inspection at 8:30 & Practice & Scoring at 8:45
  • ENTRY FEE: $30 per archer + Admin Fee which Includes Lunch
  • CLOSING DATE: 24th January 2026. Only online entries accepted.
  • GENERAL: A canteen will operate throughout the day.

TEAMS EVENT (PERPETUAL TROPHY): 

  • Recurve & Compound Teams of 4 archers (can be Male/Female archers). Teams will be taken on the highest scores from those competitors shooting on the day, no need to pre-register. 
  • Woman’s team (4 competitors – Max 2 x compounds).

AA memberships will be checked – Please ensure your name shows up in Archers Diary and you have your digital membership card on your device.
