COVID-19 AND CLUB ACTIVITIES UPDATE

Great news – Due to changes made by the Education Department, authority has been given to the school principal to determine which sports can resume on school facilities.  We have been advised today, therefor the club will to re-open on Saturdays only at this point in time, where we trialled a variety of shoots.

Monday & Wedneday nights - shooting commences at 4.00pm, members can arrive at 3.15 to set up equipment, measure out round for the night and/or train.

Saturdays, there will be two time slots:

Session 1 - 8.15-8.45 registration & set up, 9.00am shooting.

Session 2 - 11.30 registration with shooting commencing at 12 noon until round completed.

Members must register to shoot via Archers Diary (https://archersdiary.com/) before arriving at the club (you cannot just turn up, if you are uncertain how to do this, please let us know).

On arrival sign in (using own pen, and hand sanitize), we also request that members also bring along their own sanitization.

Proceed to put out your target, before putting together your equipment.  Archer should then go directly to that target, set up their equipment behind the shooting line and not leave equipment lying around anywhere else.

Shooting member can act as Director of Shooting (DOS).

Be mindful that we need to start on time.

From the 13th July, there can only be three members on the target at anyone time (members must remove their own arrows from the target).

Members must approach the target to retrieve arrows at the same time.

At completion of shooting, check to see if targets are required for the next session, if not, please remove targets from the shooting line, ensuring everything is wiped down, and sanitizing accordingly..

Important notice:

  • If members are sick they should not book themselves in for a session nor attend the club to have a look around.
  • If you are not registered to shoot, please do not come down to the club as we need to control the number of people at the ground
  • Download the Covid safe app

Signage on Display:

·         There will be a sign on entry indicating – Archery in progress, No Visitors allowed.

·         Health guidelines will be placed in the club rooms, please ensure hygiene is high on your priorities.

We look forward seeing you shooting at the club.
